In nature, we suspect,
Nothing is transfixed
No thing is motionless
‘Still’ is an illusion.

Everything wriggles
Every thing is in flux
Not only relative to everything else
But also in essence, down down
to the level of singing strings.

So what? Right?
So what if everything is moving?
So this
(and this is old –
as old at least as Ancient Greece –
and was chiseled into Apollo’s temple
at Delphi by sages):
Do not desire the impossible.

Do not wish the whirling world still.

Always it will move, and moving, move you
As you move, and move it too, down down
to the wriggling of your most essential being.

I told you that to tell you something more…
