“Take a sip… a sippy-poo…”
I cry and coo
to water-led horses,
met only
by stubborn reverses,
’til cajoling becomes curses!
but
why
do I want them so to
drink?
I’ll never ride them.
And, really,
is it not I
who am thirsty?

A clever contemplation and perhaps a metaphor for multiple things. On a lighter level, it makes me think about the toddlers I work with, encouraging them to eat but maybe I’m the one hungry….having a later lunch break! Thanks for embracing the word “sippy”….haha.
Nice to see you, Walter! 🙂

Oops, I’m so sorry. Please ignore “Walter”. I must have been looking at the wrong name on the Mr.Linky list. It’s been a long day.
Instead, I will say nice to meet you, Julian. 🙂
